The Blue Mountains of Jamaica are an undisturbed natural preserve, lush with original tropical trees and fruit, pure rivers and isolated valleys.

Many of the Maroon people here are the descendants of slaves, from as long as 400 years ago, and their strong, rebellious voice helps to form the core of a Jamaican music style, that is loved around the world as reggae.
